Axel was created to solve a simple but frustrating problem — missed calls. For service professionals and busy tradespeople, every missed call can mean a lost customer, a delayed job, or a missed opportunity. We built Axel so you never have to choose between doing the work and answering the phone.
This project began after a house fire. As I worked with contractors to rebuild our home, I saw firsthand how many of them were constantly interrupted by calls — often while up on ladders, under sinks, or in the middle of a job. They didn’t need another scheduling tool. They needed someone — or something — to handle the phone while they handled the work.
After speaking to dozens of these professionals, it was clear: a smart, friendly, always-available assistant could make a real difference. That’s where Axel comes in.
And yes — Axel is also the name of my son. He loves to build with his hands, and this product carries that same spirit of craftsmanship and curiosity.
